DanceAbility – A School for Disabled Children Needs Your Vote

My niece Felicity was born with a disability but has never let it get in the way of enjoying her life. She belongs to a dance group called DanceAbility who aims to enrich the lives of children and adults with disabilities through dance and music. Her parents have been taking Felicity to DanceAbility for ages and the look on her face when she is participating in the activities is a joy to behold. You can read all about the programs and the fantastic people who run DanceAbility from their website if you click their logo.

The teachers and students at DanceAbility have produced a video titled ‘Its All About Ability’ which was entered into a contest on the Focus on Ability website. The winning entrant will receive a $5,000 grant to put towards improving their facilities, and the lives of their students.

Please, follow the link below to vote on the DanceAbility entrant to help my niece’s school. Make sure you select ‘Open Entrants’ in the menu tab under the closing date, and choose the film ‘Its All About Ability’. Thanks.

  1. Thanks mate, much appreciated.

Fortunately for Felicity, dancing was always going to be in the genes.

Her father used to be called the ‘John Travolta’ of Tramps.

    Shit he was good.

    Chris.
